For this lesson task I was challenged by making my own personal logo – inspired by the moodboard created in the previous lesson task. For this particular task I tried many different designs, mostly sketching rough takes in digital software to play around with colors and blends. I settled on a purple color that sticks out from a white background, as I imagined the logo being used on a rather light website. I wanted to combine sleekness and playfullness, and thus ended up with the following logo. I rounded the edges of the r and n, filling in the slight space between the top points while cutting off parts of the two middle e’s. The final one is kept intact to «close» the word properly, as cutting it off felt like the owrd left something hanging. I’m very open to feedback here as I’m not sure if breaking the pattern of the letters feels too impactful, so do let me know! c:
